It is the end of the year, an atmosphere of "change" yet uncertainty seems to be ever present. But it is right to say that 2011 was the year of the youngsters and youth. We have seen more youth involvement in politics and national affairs specially Pakistani Girlsand women are taking interest in politics more than before. The youth is becoming aware, educated and rising to the forefront. 2011 has seen the recognition of the youth as a powerful and effective force, and majority will accept this now. It seems funny how in the beginning of this year very few were taking the youth as a "serious force". Not just nationally but internationally the youth across the globe has risen up specially in Pakistan, and rebelled against the status quo. It has chosen to take a lead on affairs of importance to them and their futures.
It can bee seen in the PTI Jalsa on 28th October in Lahore and then yesterday PTI Jalsa in Karachi. We can see the youth of Karachi was present at the Mizar-e-Quaid to attendPTI Jalsa and to see their Political Hero Imran Khan. The most important thing which can be noticed was that there was a huge participation from girls. Few years back it was a perception in Pakistan that Pakistani Girls and Pakistani Women do not take interest in politics. But the presence of Pakistani Girls and specially Karachi Girls in this PTI Jalsashow the other side of picture. Now we can say that Pakistani Girls and Pakistani Youthnot only taking interest in politics but they are ready to join the politics for the sake ofPakistan.
